<p> Job Title: Architect<br />
 <br /> Location: Lekki, Lagos<br />

<p> <b>Responsibilities</b><br />
 <br /> Design Development: </p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, vision, and project goals.</li>
<li>Create concept sketches, drawings, and architectural models to visualize and communicate design ideas effectively.</li>
<li>Develop comprehensive design proposals that align with project constraints, regulations, and aesthetic preferences.</li>
</ul>
<p> Project Planning: </p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct site analysis to assess the physical, environmental, and contextual factors that could impact the design.</li>
<li>Prepare feasibility studies and cost estimates to guide project budgeting and resource allocation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers, urban planners, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive design approach.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Technical Expertise:</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.</li>
<li>Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements.</li>
<li>Integrate sustainable design principles to enhance energy efficiency and minimize environmental impact.</li>
</ul>
<p> Client Collaboration:<br />
 </p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain open communication with clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and update them on project progress.</li>
<li>Present design concepts and proposals to clients, explaining design rationale and addressing questions.</li>
</ul>
<p> Project Management: </p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the project from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.</li>
<li>Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure construction aligns with design intent.</li>
<li>Monitor construction progress, resolve design-related issues, and approve material and finish selections.</li>
</ul>
<p> Quality Control: </p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction aligns with the design plans and specifications.</li>
<li>Review and approve shop drawings, samples, and mock-ups to maintain design integrity.</li>
</ul>
<p> Innovation and Research: </p>
<ul>
<li>Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging materials to integrate innovative solutions into projects.</li>
<li>Apply creative problem-solving skills to address design challenges and create unique, functional spaces.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Requirements</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.</li>
<li>Project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Knowledge of sustainable design principles and their implementation.</li>
<li>Professional licensure as an architect (where required) or eligibility to pursue licensure.</li>
<li>Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate with clients and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Experience:</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in architectural design, preferably with a portfolio showcasing a range of project types and scales.</li>
<li>Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants.</li>
<li>Experience in managing all phases of a project, from concept design through construction administration.</li>
</ul>
