Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has congratulated Nigerian Singer, Tems for winning her second Grammy award.

Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems, won the Best African Music Performance category at the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Obi, in a statement on Monday, congratulated the singer, and commended the remarkable success of Nigerian youth in the entertainment industry.

He expressed his joy over the growing global recognition of Nigerian talents across various fields, particularly in entertainment.

He also lauded the contributions of other Nigerian artists who received Grammy nominations, emphasising the nation’s abundant talent pool that continues to earn global recognition.
