<p><b>Overview of the role:</b></p>
<p> Working within the PCBA process hand assembly electronic, electro-mechanical circuit board assemblies. To follow methods and sequence of operations in; board building, hand soldering (predominantly TH/Conventional componentry), rework and inspection on printed circuit boards. Adhering to internal production process and workflow plans while reporting to the process supervisor.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Populating PCBAs with through hole components within pre-flow process while adhering to production documentation</li>
<li>Component kit prep and PCB cropping within the pre-flow process.</li>
<li>To set up equipment needed to assemble the printed circuit assemblies. i.e. ladder racks and assembly frames</li>
<li>Reworking through-hole components post flow-solder.</li>
<li>Hand soldering through-hole components within hand-assembly process.</li>
<li>Fitting SMT components by hand</li>
<li>Implementing component modifications to PCBAs (wire links, routed wires, piggyback devices etc)</li>
<li>Learn and perform basic troubleshooting protocols and rework for non-conforming units</li>
<li>Ability to be flexible and handle priority changes as they occur</li>
<li>Meet expected daily production requirements</li>
<li>To carry out normal assembly tasks as required</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>10 years&#8217; experience of assembling electronic assemblies</li>
<li>5 years&#8217; experience working in electronics manufacturing.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent trade school education</li>
<li>Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the use of hand tools including soldering equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches, and heat guns, with good manual dexterity</li>
<li>Previous experience of being IPC-A-610 certified</li>
<li>Desirable if previously IPC-7711/21 certified</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of workmanship standards and quality control procedures including compliance for ESD</li>
<li>Experience operating in a lean manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Comfortable with the use of Microsoft Office Suites</li>
</ul>
