<p><strong>Manchester United</strong> legend <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=paul+scholes"><strong>Paul Scholes</strong></a> has criticized <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/marcus-rashford"><strong>Marcus Rashford’s</strong> </a>attitude following his ongoing exclusion from the team.</p>
<p>Scholes call for the 27-year-old to be “banished” from the dressing room.</p>
<p>Rashford, who has not played since December 12, has expressed his desire for a “new challenge” and has been left out of matchday squads by manager Ruben Amorim, apart from one game where he was an unused substitute.</p>
<p>Amorim recently escalated the criticism by suggesting he would prefer to name 63-year-old goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital on the bench over Rashford due to the forward’s poor training habits.</p>

<p>Speaking on Sky Bet’s The Overlap, Scholes slammed Rashford’s attitude, claiming the England international is setting a bad example for younger players like Alejandro Garnacho.</p>
<p>“He’s let a lot of people down with his attitude,” Scholes said. “At 27, he should be setting the standard for younger players.</p>
<p>“Instead, his behavior sends the wrong message. If he’s not training or living properly, he shouldn’t be in that dressing room influencing others,” he added.</p>
<p>Scholes compared Rashford’s current behavior to a mistake he made during his playing days, recounting how Sir Alex Ferguson reprimanded him for letting his teammates down.</p>
