Victor Osimhen’s goal-scoring streak continued as Galatasaray edged Samsunspor 3-2 in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

The Nigerian striker, who had netted twice against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League just days earlier, delivered another brace, proving instrumental to his team’s victory.

Osimhen put Galatasaray ahead in the 3rd minute, capitalizing on a well-timed assist from Lucas Torreira.

The early goal gave Galatasaray a strong start, but Samsunspor fought back and equalized in the 50th minute through Olivier Ntcham.

However, Osimhen quickly restored Galatasaray’s lead with his second goal in the 55th minute.

Michy Batshuayi then extended the margin to 3-1 in the 85th minute, giving Galatasaray some breathing room as the match approached full time.

Samsunspor added a late goal from Ait Bennasser in stoppage time, but it wasn’t enough to overturn Galatasaray’s lead.

The win kept Galatasaray’s Super Lig campaign on track, leading the table with six points.
