We are looking for an Online Merchandiser to join our team to support the planning & execution of omnichannel trading & merchandising initiatives. This role will be responsible for supporting the Trading Managers in their respective areas through merchandising the Currys & Carphone Warehouse websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for merchandising a product area of responsibility e.g. appliances and driving performance for the category through understanding trading performance
  • Accountable for ‘right first time’ promotional set up
  • Ownership and performance analysis of deals pages
  • Understanding pain points in the journey using analytics tools (e.g. Adobe, content square) and recommending/implementing changes
  • Establish a philosophy of continuous improvement through all areas, demonstrable through meaningful metrics reported weekly and periodically
  • Managing search tool optimisation, navigation, PLP sorting rules, Einstein recommendations and creating and implementing a plan to optimise these using SFCC A/B testing capability
  • Use on-site analytics and feedback performance analysis if required
  • Responsible for ensuring that product merchandising standards are met across teams and surpassing agreed benchmarks
  • Managing ad hoc requests and projects that may arise as part of strategic work e.g. Refurbished PoC, Uber PoC.

Key skills & experience required

  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with good attention to detail
  • Good level of commercial acumen
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills to review data and provide recommendations to drive sales, profit and cash
  • Ability to build relationships and be a team player
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to team forums as well as working cross functionally to achieve the desired results

Desirable

  • Experience using Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Amplience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics or other web analytics tool
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant field
