<p> <b>Role Description</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nigeria for a Senior Risk Management Officer at One17 Capital.</li>
<li>As a Risk Management Officer, the successful candidate will oversee the firm&#8217;s risk management framework, policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>The Senior Risk Management Officer will identify and evaluate risks, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, analyze market trends, and provide guidance and support in all matters of risk management.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Qualifications</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.</li>
<li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in Risk Management, preferably in the financial services industry.</li>
<li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with management, colleagues, and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, and CPA are preferred, but not required.</li>
<li>Experience with Islamic Finance and Shari&#8217;ah Compliant investment products is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills</li>
<li>Experience in creating and implementing risk management policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Excellent understanding of relevant regulatory standards and requirements.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.</li>
