Job Description:

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a fulfilling role in community care? We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our social worker teams, focusing on supporting the social care needs of citizens living in their own homes, extra care, and similar environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify the occupational therapy needs of individuals in the community.
Provide support and interventions to enhance independence and quality of life.
Collaborate with social worker teams to address the social care needs of citizens.
Utilize knowledge of enablement, moving and handling, aids, and minor works.
Make referrals to other statutory services as needed.
Requirements:

Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant professional registration.
Experience in a community OT role is highly desirable.
Knowledge of enablement, moving and handling, aids, and minor works.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
