<p><strong>Manchester United</strong> prodigy <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/chido-obi-martin"><strong>Chido Obi-Martin</strong></a> has revealed a timely piece of advice from manager <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/ruben-amorim"><strong>Ruben Amorim</strong></a>, who urged the 17-year-old to “be humble” and maintain his work ethic as he stakes a claim for more minutes in the senior squad.</p>
<p>The teenage striker, who debuted in February, has now made five substitute appearances, with his latest cameo coming in the defeat to Wolves.</p>
<p>Obi-Martin’s maturity and rapid adaptation to first-team football have been noted internally, especially amid Rasmus Højlund’s ongoing struggles—just three goals in 28 league matches.</p>
<p>“He’s just told me to be humble and keep working hard every day,” Obi-Martin told club media. “Hopefully, I get more opportunities soon.”</p>
<p>Obi-Martin credits his parents for instilling discipline and a coachable mindset, which is serving him well as he navigates the jump from youth football to the senior level.</p>
<p>“I’ve learnt to think quicker and be smarter, first-team training is another level compared to the Academy,” he added.</p>
<p>With Manchester United preparing to face Bournemouth this weekend, the spotlight is on Amorim’s selection.</p>
