<p> Midland Transport is currently seeking a full-time Night Linehaul Shift Supervisor for our Linehaul division at our Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a &#8220;Can Do&#8221; attitude.</p>
<p><b>Shift:</b></p>
<p> Overnight shift work.</p>
<p> Flexible schedule to accommodate vacation, sick times, etc.</p>
<p> Successful Candidate will possess the following: </p>
<ul>
<li>Education Required: Trade Certification or College Diploma in a related field would be an asset.</li>
<li>Years of Experience Required:</li>
<li>5 years of dispatch transportation experience required.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years management and or supervision experience required.</li>
<li>Trained and familiar with terminal equipment, dangerous goods, and all transportation government regulations</li>
<li>Daily Management experience an asset.</li>
<li>Well organized and strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Communication, organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications</li>
<li>AS400 knowledge is an asset but not a requirement.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for the dispatch operations on the evening shift, successful candidate must be flexible with their work hours to accommodate all shift coverage.</li>
<li>Be a key contributor to the daily management team and lead the changes with the night/weekend team.</li>
<li>Responsible for the supervision, training, development, and scheduling of Weekend Dispatch personnel</li>
<li>Responsible for learning all personnel functions in order provide support.</li>
<li>Responsible for meeting or exceeding evening dispatch goals</li>
<li>Ensure company policies are adhered to which included operational and safety policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure Superior Quality Service is provided to our external and internal customers while continuing to increase Employee Engagement on the weekend shift.</li>
