<p>A US based <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/nigerian-man" rel="noopener"><strong>Nigerian man</strong></a> narrates how he surprised his Caucasian family friend by his intense mastication of Chicken bone.</p>
<p>He shared on his X account, <em>@ChukwudeSy</em>, when people were asked to share culture shocks they have experienced.</p>
<p>He narrated his time at a <strong>family friend’s</strong> home when he was served dinner with Chicken meat.</p>

<p>Coming from <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=nigeria" rel="noopener"><strong>Nigeria</strong></a>, he was used to eating the meat as well as the bone so he did just that at the dinner.</p>
<p>However, he was not aware that Americans do not eat like that so when he was done, the little boy in the house kept staring at him in shock.</p>
<p>He tweeted;</p>
<p><em>“Coming from Nigeria in Africa, we chew our chicken completely, especially and including the bones, which are often soft.</em><br /><em>So my first time in the United States as an adult, I remember having dinner at a family friend’s home. It’s time to devour the chicken in front of me and I completely innocently destroyed it with nothing left.</em><br /><em>I didn’t know their 3-year-old son was watching me eat the chicken plus the bones, completely. I only heard “wow” from his soft voice. I turned to him and he asked “How did you do that?” with an amazed look on his face.</em><br /><em>He had never seen anyone chew chicken bones. Something normal and natural back home.</em><br /><em>So yes, that was a culture shock for me.”</em></p>
