<p>A Nigerian lawyer, Chidimma Susan Ezenyili, also known as Suzy, collapsed and tragically passed away just six months after relocating to the <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/UK" rel="noopener"><strong>United Kingdom</strong></a>.</p>
<p>Suzy, who was employed as a <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/?s=caregiver" rel="noopener"><strong>caregiver</strong></a>, reportedly collapsed at her workplace on Thursday, February 22, and sadly succumbed two days later.</p>
<p>The 37-year-old had faced challenges at work but remained committed to her <strong>elderly client</strong>, Ian Hale, 86, whom she cared for over the past five months.</p>
<p>Suzy and her husband, Friday, <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/?s=japa" rel="noopener"><strong>left Nigeria in August 2023 to seek better opportunities in the UK</strong></a>, working as caregivers on sponsorship visas to provide a better life for their three-year-old daughter, Mandy.</p>
<p>Regarding Suzy’s passing, Catherine Segal, Hale’s daughter, remarked, <em>“She was driven there by her husband with their three-year-old daughter as she wasn’t feeling well but didn’t want to let my dad down.”</em></p>
<p>Following her collapse, she was transported to Addenbrooke’s <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/?s=Hospital" rel="noopener"><strong>Hospital</strong></a> in Cambridge, where doctors in the neurosciences critical care unit diagnosed her with a severe brain haemorrhage.</p>
