Mykhailo Mudryk has turned to Morgan Sports Law, the firm that successfully handled Paul Pogba’s doping case.
Mudryk fights to overturn his provisional suspension for failing a drugs test.
The 23-year-old, tested positive for meldonium following the November international break and awaits the results of his B sample, which will determine the next steps.
Meldonium, banned since 2016, is commonly used to enhance endurance and recovery.
The Chelsea and Ukrainian winger has denied any wrongdoing, stating the news was a “shock.”
His legal team aims to challenge the allegations, following their success in reducing Pogba’s initial four-year ban to 18 months.
Mudryk’s last appearance for Chelsea came in their UEFA Conference League win over Heidenheim in late November.
He has since missed five Premier League matches, leaving Chelsea without one of their key attacking options.
