Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has reacted to the testimony of Nurse Feyi at the ongoing coroner’s inquest.
The nurse who traveled from Cotonou to treat Mohbad revealed details about the singer’s final moments during her appearance on Friday.
Speaking on the testimony, Baba Mohbad criticized his daughter-in-law, Wunmi, accusing her of negligence in handling her husband’s medical needs.
He also refuted Wunmi’s earlier claim that he had instructed the release of the nurse, stating that he had never met Nurse Feyi before seeing her in court.
Baba Mohbad further disclosed that the court is set to receive the private autopsy report next Friday.
Mohbad’s father blames Wunmi for negligence following nurse’s testimony
“What I heard in court has now made me to know that Wunmi didn’t care for her husband. She had to wait for an auxiliary nurse for good 24 hours and not a qualified nurse to treat her husband.
“The nurse also confirmed it in court that she has never met me before and she was just meeting me for the first time in court and wunmi lied that her father in law said they should release the nurse, someone I never set my eyes on. We are expecting the pathologist to read the result of the private autopsy next Friday.
“SAN Shittu wanted the court to invite the Doctor that pronounced Mohbad de*d but the court didn’t grant the request. I detected a lot of new things from the nurse’s testimony. She said Adura was never in the house when she got there. She also said that when they were rushing Mohbad out of the house, they were carrying him like a baby. This shows that he was already de*d in the house before they carried him to the hospital.”
The coroner’s inquest continues as the public awaits further findings, including the anticipated autopsy report.
