Job description: About The Role
Firstpoint Healthcare are currently recruiting Mental Health Care Assistants and Student Mental Health Nurses to work with the NHS in the Chester area!
The trust provides a number of services ranging from Acute Assessment Units, Inpatient Mental Health Wards, CAMHS, Dementia Wards, Learning Disabilities Units and Rehabilitation Units.
What your day to day role would include;
- Supporting both young & older patients with severe Mental Health issues
- Providing & receiving informative handovers
- Performing 1:1 Eyesight Observations
- Note Taking
- Supporting patients with everyday needs
- Accompanying patients to hospital appointments
- Liaising with mental health nurses and doctors on the wards
We support your availability, so whether you want to work part time shifts around your current rota, work around your studies, or want to work with us full time, we work completely around you!
Location: CH2
Shift Patterns: 07:30-20:00, 19:30-08:00
We offer an hourly rate of up to £22.00 per hour based on shift pattern. We operate a weekly payroll service so this allows you to get paid every Friday! (get that Friday feeling EVERY Friday!)
Applicants must have 6 months support work experience in the last 2 years and be able to provide evidence of their immunisation history. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered for the role.
