<p>A Nigerian <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/Matchmaker"><strong>matchmaker</strong></a> has taken to social media to lament after a <strong>lady</strong> she matched with a <strong>man</strong> blocked him despite receiving â¦500,000 and having her house rent paid multiple times.</p>
<p>The incident was shared in a TikTok post where the matchmaker narrated how the lady, identified as Shola, suddenly cut off communication with the man after benefiting financially from him.</p>
<p>According to the matchmaker, she introduced Shola to the man last year, and since then, he had been sending her a weekly allowance of â¦20,000 to â¦30,000.</p>
<p>On several occasions, he reportedly paid her rent and once sent her â¦500,000 to restock her shop.</p>
<p>Despite all this, Shola allegedly blocked the man after receiving the money.</p>
<p>The matchmaker also recalled a time when the man arranged to meet her at a hotel, but she claimed to have taken sleeping pills, leaving him to wait alone.</p>
<p>Calling her out, the matchmaker said: <em>“Shola, I matched you with a man who paid your house rent. When you needed help with your shop, I spoke to him and he sent you â¦500,000. He wanted to visit you, but you said you took sleeping drugs and delayed him in a hotel. You think you’re smart—I’ll show you.”</em></p>
<p>She added: <em>“Shola, you’re too small to run street on me. I matched you with a man last year — he paid your house rent and gave you â¦10k to â¦20k weekly. On June 4th, he even gave you â¦500k.”</em></p>
<p>The post has since gone viral, with many Nigerians trooping to the comment section to react.</p>
