About the role

The Marketing Manager Engineered Solutions (ES) & Government Agencies is responsible for driving the Draeger UK/IRE Engineered Solutions and government strategy across the safety segments in collaboration with the Marketing Managers and Head of Marketing. They have product responsibility of Draeger Engineered Solutions (ES), they are also the segment expert for (Government).

Responsiblities:

  • The (ES) portfolio across all safety segments in the UK & IRE. This includes optimisation of the global portfolio for the domestic market and ensuring that the local market requirement is clearly communicated.
  • The local Price/Positioning of the Portfolio within the target markets. This includes the competitive positioning as well as the adaptation and development of the product differentiation message.
  • The adaptation of global / regional marketing materials for the local market. Works in conjunction with the Communication team in the development of local materials and sales support information.
  • The Engineered Solutions expert. You will be responsible for providing support to the sales teams for the achievement of their sales targets. This includes responsibility for the analysis of the market, definition of the portfolio and generation marketing strategy.
  • The implementation and execution of the (ES) go-to-market strategy process in consultation with the Emergency & Rescue Services marketing manager, sales managers, and the Head of Marketing for UK & IRE. You will also actively participate in developing and deploying the (ES) Segment strategy for the UK, (considering global concepts) for each market segment.
  • Supporting long-term brand awareness, thought leadership and key opinion leader activities across the safety segments and product areas. You will drive business and competitive intelligence with regards to your area of responsibility within the global guidelines, understand future market trends and requirements and help to align strategies accordingly.
  • Providing local Product management of the (ES) portfolio, including product launches and ongoing management of the portfolio offering. You will actively contribute to the development of the global corporate strategy for the product portfolio (ES), and based on that, derive, and execute local product marketing strategies in alignment with regional and global marketing teams.
  • Providing local segment management for Government agencies, including Defence & Security, Police, HART, Ministry of Justice (Prisons), NHS (Cross Segment). You will be responsible for developing these segments regarding supporting tenders, lobbying governmental officials, and developing the overall Marketing strategy.
  • Be the Government expert. You will be responsible for providing support to the sales teams and the Engineered Solutions Sales Specialist for the achievement of their sales targets, the analysis of the market, definition of the portfolio and generation marketing strategy.
  • Marketing & Product Management experience preferably in a relevant industry or technical Safety Product role.
  • Degree in related subject is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in a B2B Marketing role
  • Experience in marketing and commercial strategy
  • Product management experience highly desirable
  • Experience managing complex technical solutions
  • Experience in the safety industry is highly desirable
  • Experience working with government agencies is desirable
  • Ability to prepare and manage budgets
  • IT knowledge: MS Office / CRM / TEAMS
  • Ability to organize, manage time and priorities
