Reports from France suggest that Mario Balotelli is looking to depart Adana Demirspor for a comeback to Serie A.

Italian teams Udinese, Salernitana, and Empoli have been linked with the former Inter Milan and Manchester City star.

Balotelli, 33, is currently under contract with the Turkish club until June 30, with an option for a one-year extension.

Having had a promising start to the season with three goals in five match appearances in the Turkish Super Lig, he underwent knee surgery in November.

Football Italia reported that Balotelli is now keen to leave Adana Demirspor and is eyeing a move back to the Serie A, with the aim of securing a spot in Italy’s squad for the Euro 2024 tournament.

Salernitana, managed by Pippo Inzaghi, is reportedly an attractive option for him, especially with one of their forwards out due to injury.

Udinese, on the other hand are struggling for goals this season, and need a clinical forward.

Similarly, Empoli, currently in the relegation zone, need a quick remedy, and are considering the services of Balotelli.
