<p>A Nigerian <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/man" rel="noopener"><strong>man</strong></a> gets hospitalized after being dumped by his <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/?s=girlfriend" rel="noopener"><strong>girlfriend</strong></a>, a situation he revealed in a post shared on his page via the popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).</p>
<p>In the post, the man disclosed that the breakup occurred in November, captioning it simply, “<em>I got dumped</em>.”</p>

<p>Alongside the post, he shared the breakup message sent by his <strong>girlfriend</strong>, which reads:</p>
<p><em>“Hey my man, Thank you so much for being the best thing that has happened to me. I thank Almighty Allah always for your presence and your love. Knowing you has been a blessing, and I’ve loved you deeply. I was looking forward to spending many more beautiful and happier days with you. I love you, Temitope.”</em></p>
<p><em>“But I’ve thought about this really hard, and I’m sorry that I’ve been distant. I don’t know how long it will take for everything to come together. I need a friend more than a boyfriend right now.”</em></p>
<p><em>“It’s too much for me—worrying about schoolwork, holding my family together, and managing a relationship all at once. So, please, could we just be friends for the time being? I’m really sorry to hurt you this way.”</em></p>
<p>As the post circulated online, concerned individuals flooded the comments section to share their thoughts, with many offering words of support and encouragement.</p>
