A Nigerian man has taken to social media to reveal what he received as the best-graduating student from a Nigerian university.

Olawale graduated from the Air Force Institute of Technology in the 2021/2022 academic year with a 4.99/5.0 CGPA, but he received two plaques for his efforts.

He bemoaned the fact that despite being the best-graduating student in his class, he was not given a single naira to recognise his efforts.

Rather, the institution honoured him by designing a jersey with his name and CGPA prominently displayed on the back.

He displayed two award plaques and a white customised jersey while implying how disappointing it was.

Although he did not receive what he desired from the Nigerian Institute, he did receive a full scholarship to continue his studies at Boston University in the United States.
