<p>The match saw both sides struggle to create clear-cut chance.</p>
<p>The first half saw United edge possession but fail to trouble City goalkeeper Ederson.</p>
<p>Alejandro Garnacho’s early burst down the right offered hope, but his cross found no takers in the box.</p>
<p>City looked disjointed without the injured Erling Haaland, with Omar Marmoush unable to replicate the Norwegian’s cutting edge.</p>
<p>A rare moment of excitement came when Bruno Fernandes tested Ederson with a long-range effort, only for the Brazilian to tip it over the bar.</p>
<p>After the break, City showed flickers of intent.</p>
<p>Kevin De Bruyne, in his final Manchester derby before departing the club this summer, nearly unlocked United’s defense with a clever through ball, but Andre Onana stood tall to deny Marmoush.</p>
<p>United responded with Casemiro heading wide from a Fernandes corner, while substitute Joshua Zirkzee saw a late effort blocked by Rico Lewis in a frantic goalmouth scramble.</p>
<p>The game fizzled out with four minutes of added time, as both teams seemed content to settle for a point.</p>
