Job description: Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias required immediately for our client in Lennoxtown.
As part of the Engineering team, this role will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained, repaired and serviced to a high standard to enable maximum efficiency. The role will involve working on a variety of equipment including high speed bottling lines and associated packing machinery.
Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance schedules on plant equipment
Attend to breakdowns and diagnose faults, repairing machinery and equipment to a high standard
Identify recurring defects and implement corrective actions
Ensure all engineering documentation such as plans, manuals, permits and risk assessments are maintained and up to date
Requirements
Recognised engineering qualification or equivalent experience
Demonstrable electrical engineering skills, encompassing fault finding, repair and installation
This role will work a continuous day shift pattern, working 7 shifts over 14 days 07:45- 20:00 .
Example:
Week 1 working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2 working Wednesday & Thursday
Salary is £39,365 per annum plus benefits including 28 days holiday, up to 10% pension and a free health cash plan.
