About the Opportunity:
– We are currently looking for an efficient Licensed Practical Nurse in a respected and accredited healthcare facility located just outside Lowell, in Tewksbury, MA
– The hospital is an acute long-term care hospital that provides comprehensive treatment, care, and comfort to adults with medical and/or mental illnesses
– Your main responsibility is to provide basic care to patients, including taking vitals, ensuring the comfort of patients, and administering medications under the supervision of RNs and doctors
LPN Responsibilities:
– Monitoring basic patient health such as vital signs and overall condition
– Taking patient histories and maintaining documentation
– Providing personal care, such as helping with changing dressings, bathing, and toileting
– Consulting with RNs on care plans
LPN Qualifications:
– Must have a current LPN license that is eligible in Massachusetts
– Caring positive attitude
– Any experience working with elderly patients or veterans is preferred
