<p><b>Job Summary</b></p>
<ul>
<li>The Logistics Supervisor at Geoaudits Nigeria is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the transportation, distribution, and storage of products to ensure efficient and timely delivery to customers.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities</b><br />
 Supervision and Leadership: </p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage a team of Distribution Drivers and Mates.</li>
<li>Provide guidance and direction to the team to ensure smooth operations.</li>
<li>Report Directly to the head of operations</li>
<li>Provides first hand resolution and escalates issues.</li>
</ul>
<p> Routing and Scheduling: </p>
<ul>
<li>Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency.</li>
<li>Schedule transportation resources to meet delivery timelines.</li>
</ul>
<p> Inventory Management: </p>
<ul>
<li>Monitor and manage inventory levels at distribution centers.</li>
<li>Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.</li>
</ul>
<p> Order Fulfillment: </p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment.</li>
<li>Ensure loading confirmation and offloading</li>
<li>Coordinate with other departments to meet customer demand.</li>
</ul>
<p> Quality Control: </p>
<ul>
<li>Implement and enforce quality control measures for inbound and outbound shipments.</li>
<li>Address and resolve issues related to damaged or incorrect shipments.</li>
</ul>
<p> Compliance and Documentation: </p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to shipments.</li>
<li>Ensure Distribution drivers and mates are available on site.</li>
</ul>
<p> Continuous Improvement: </p>
<ul>
<li>Identify opportunities for process improvement in logistics operations.</li>
<li>Implement best practices to enhance efficiency.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications and Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.</li>
<li>Proven experience in logistics, with a focus on supervision and leadership.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics operations.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li>
<li>Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in logistics management.</li>
</ul>
