Controversial Nollywood actress, Lizzy Anjorin has once again called out popular gospel singer, Tope Alabi, escalating their ongoing feud over the singer’s refusal to perform at her birthday celebration.

The drama began after Lizzy’s fans reportedly paid the gospel minister ₦4 million to make a surprise appearance at the event — a performance that never happened.

In a fresh video circulating online, Lizzy Anjorin expressed her disappointment, alleging that Tope Alabi backed out upon realizing that she was the celebrant. The actress didn’t hold back as she publicly shared a receipt of the alleged ₦4 million payment and accused the singer of unprofessional behavior.

Aunty Tope, my fans paid you ₦4 million and I have the evidence with me. Even if you were paid ₦500k, were you not an actress before? In acting, we were taught that if you are to kiss your enemy on a movie set, you must do it,” she said.

She went on to compare the situation to her past loyalty during Tope Alabi’s controversies, particularly her fallout with the late Prophet Ajanaku.

“When the world rejected you, I stood by you. I even play your songs not because I need them, but to support you. No matter how terrible you think I am, I’m not as bad as Prophet Ajanaku,” she added.

Lizzy also accused the gospel singer of hypocrisy, stating that a performer should remain professional regardless of personal feelings.

“You saw the goodness of God in my life when you were outside my place. You called me your sister. No matter how much they paid you, you should not have reacted that way. If you judge me, you are not God.”

The video has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with fans divided over whether the gospel singer had a right to decline the performance or if she breached professional conduct by not showing up after payment.

As of now, Tope Alabi has not issued an official response to the renewed accusations.
