<p>The Reds took an early lead through Dominik Szoboszlai, who finished off a well-worked counterattack with a precise strike into the bottom corner.</p>
<p>In the second half, Alexis Mac Allister doubled the advantage, smashing Mohamed Salah’s pass into the top corner.</p>
<p>Newcastle were without key forward Alexander Isak due to a groin injury, and they struggled to break down Liverpool’s defense.</p>
<p>Elsewhere, <strong>Arsenal</strong> and Nottingham Forest played out a goalless draw at the City Ground.</p>
<p>Manchester City secured a 1-0 win over Tottenham, with Erling Haaland’s first-half finish proving to be the difference in London.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Brentford were held to a 1-1 draw by Everton. Yoane Wissa opened the scoring for the Bees, but Jake O’Brien equalized for the Toffees in the 77th minute.</p>
