<p>Mrs. Cordelia Okonye, the mother of late <strong>Augusta Onuwabhagbe</strong>, has expressed heartfelt relief and hope for justice following the extradition of her daughter’s alleged killer, Benjamin Best Nnayereugo, popularly known as <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/killaboi"><strong><em>Killaboi</em></strong></a>, to Nigeria.</p>
<p>Killaboi, who was <strong>declared wanted in 2023</strong> after allegedly murdering his girlfriend, Augusta, in Lagos, was <strong>extradited from Doha</strong>, Qatar, on Saturday, April 19, 2025, following months of an international manhunt and cooperation between Nigerian authorities and <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/INTERPOL"><strong>INTERPOL</strong></a>.</p>
<p>Reacting to the development, Mrs. Okonye took to her Facebook page to share her feelings and reaffirm her faith in divine justice.</p>
<p><em>“YOUR VICTORY IS SURE WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE INNOCENT AND OF A PURE HEART. You will surely testify!”</em> she wrote.</p>

<p>Her message, filled with conviction, reflects the pain of a grieving mother who has waited nearly two years for accountability after losing her 21-year-old daughter, a first-class student of <strong>Lead City University</strong>, Ibadan.</p>
<p>Augusta was reportedly murdered by Killaboi on July 13, 2023, at his residence in Ajah, Lagos. He fled the country shortly after the incident and was tracked across multiple countries before finally being apprehended in Qatar under a fake identity.</p>
<p>The Nigerian Police Force has confirmed that Killaboi will face full prosecution, with Inspector-General of Police, <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/Kayode-Egbetokun"><strong>Kayode Egbetokun</strong></a>, assuring the public of the force’s commitment to justice.</p>
