<p>A Nigerian <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/Lawyer"><strong>lawyer</strong></a> expressed frustration online after being fined â¦24,000 by the <strong>Lagos State government</strong> just seconds after he parked his <strong>car</strong> by the roadside to investigate a noise coming from the engine.</p>
<p>The incident was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by the lawyer, @MalachyOdo1.</p>
<p>He explained that after hearing a strange sound from his vehicle, he stopped to identify the source and found it was coming from the engine area.</p>
<p>However, shortly after stopping, he discovered he had been fined by the Lagos State government for parking by the roadside.</p>
<p>He wrote:</p>
<p><em>“You park by the roadside to check out a noise coming from the engine area and the next thing you get is a fine! Lagos IGR no go kpai person.”</em></p>
