Education required:

BCC or equivalent at A Level with one subject being Chemistry or a related science discipline

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Other requirements: You must live within a 60-minute commute of the site location on the day you start your apprenticeship as you are expected to be on site daily.

What will you do?

You will be part of our laboratory team based at our Barnard Castle site. While this site is not an R&D facility, we do manage new products from pilot to full scale manufacturing.

Learning a range of analytical methods and operating specialist laboratory equipment to test our pharmaceutical products and raw materials

Analysing, interpreting and investigating results – as well as writing reports on your findings

Learning about the process each drug or product follows through from pilot to full scale manufacturing.

Involved in improvement projects

Testing and commissioning new laboratory equipment and processes.
