We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Human Resource Manager

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Human Resources Manager will lead and coordinate the day-to-day Human Resources activities for the organization.
  • The HR Manager will provide oversight and guidance to the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation, benefits, training, and development; as well as oversee administrative functions.
  • The HR Manager will provide strategic guidance on HR to the office, enforce the company’s policies, and compliance to the industry’s best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Defining job requirements andupdating job descriptions for positions.
  • Managing the recruitment process of advertising, interviewing, and recommending candidates to managers for employment; review job advertisements prior to posting, screen CVs, conduct telephone/virtual screenings, coordinate interview teams, participate in interviewing candidates and ensure that documentation is collected and recorded/filed.
  • Oversee all labor engagement for the organization and manage the new hire orientation and exit process.
  • Periodically review the Personnel Handbook recommending amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labor laws.
  • Identifying training gaps, make recommendation(s) preparing training plans, and managing training programs.
  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of performance reviews.
  • Monitor compensation – ensuring internal equity & compliance and benefits.
  • Managing an efficient performance appraisal system.
  • Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.
  • Administering salary and benefits programs.
  • Coordinate with Finance department in the preparation of monthly payroll.
  • Advise the management on appropriate staffing levels and assist in budget preparation.
  • Review employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
  • Developing and implementing HR related policies on issues like performance management, equal opportunities, working conditions, disciplinary procedures, and attendance management.
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Ensure that payslips are issued to employees after salaries for each month have been paid.
  • Managing relations with service providers on employee-related services.
  • Ensure smooth running of all administrative functions in the office.

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • 10 – 15 years of experience as a HR Generalist.
  • HR professional certification is compulsory.
  • Must reside in Ibadan, Oyo State.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of payroll administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

2.) Retail Supply Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

  • To contribute to the profitability of Hermes by sustaining and growing the company’s Diesel Retail Sales Business by ensuring operational excellence, revenue growth and cost-leadership.
  • To identify, build and maintain strategic relationships that will ensure the continued growth and profitability of the company’s Diesel Retail sales business and contribute to strengthening the company’s brand.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensures consistent, profitable growth in Retail sales revenues through positive planning, deployment, and management of sales personnel.
  • Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term retail sales and earnings.
  • Prepares and manages the budget for the company’s Retail sales and drives its delivery.
  • Liaises with the Management and Procurement team to source products.
  • Engages with Executive Management to determine product pricing and/or discount schemes and ensures that this is effectively communicated to customers.
  • Ensures consistent, profitable growth in retail sales revenues through positive planning, deployment, and management of sales personnel.
  • Directs the selling activities within the company’s Sales & Marketing business, including resource deployment and customer interactions.
  • Leads business development activities and manages existing relationships to grow the retail sales portfolio.
  • Reviews sales and marketing reports relating to own business division and reports to Executive Management on performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide insights on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Puts in place measures to effectively track and address customer feedback and complaints.
  • Liaises with customers concerning availability of stock.
  • Reviews the periodic inward delivery and product inventory reports.
  • Analysis performance reports and reports trends in profitability and pricing.
  • Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / BA / HND
  • Required years of experience – minimum of 4 years of experience as a retail sales representative with focus on diesel retail supply sales on a large scale to end users.
  • Experience in the downstream oil & gas industry is compulsory.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales software.

Job Description

  • Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip.
  • Pick up employees from the place and at the time they’ve requested.
  • Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders.
  • Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues.
  • Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions.
  • Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed.
  • Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car.

Job Skills and Requirements

  • Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO).
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Driver.
  • Possession of an FRSC driver’s license is compulsory.
