We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Cashier

Job Location: Sango Ota, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Senior Accountant / Hospital Service Manager

Job Summary

  • The Cashier will be responsible for receiving payment by cash, cheque, direct transfers or vouchers.
  • He/ She will also be responsible for issuing receipt, giving change when necessary to customers.
  • He/ She will also be responsible for posting payment received into necessary entry books and balancing the books at the end of each business day.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for receiving and confirming bill for patient on the system; if bill amount is correct before collection of payment.
  • In case of cash payment, you must ensure that appropriate amount is paid by verifying the cash paid by the patient.
  • In case of cheque payment, the Consultant in charge of the patient must sign the bill approving the cheque collection.
  • Report sign by both parties on the cash to be lodged.
  • Responsible for summarizing corporate bills daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Preparation and Updating of ledgers.
  • Preparation of assigned reports.
  • In the case of direct lodgment, transfer and POS, transactions must be confirmed approved before proceeding to issuing receipt.
  • Receipt(s) will only be issued after payment is made.
  • Posting of transaction into the QuickBooks appropriately.
  • Balance transactions at the end of the day with Accountant/ Auditor.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
  • Posting of journals.
  • Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor, manager & the Medical Director from time to time.
  • Any other duties assigned by your Manager and the Medical Director.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an OND preferably in Accounting
  • 2 years of experience in a Cashiering role.
  • Computer savvy skills
  • Must be familiar with the use of Accounting Software.
  • Must be an intermediate level user of Microsoft office suite {Word, Excel and PowerPoint}

2.) Job Position: Nursing Officer

Job Summary

  • A Nursing Officer is responsible for treating patients who are sick and injured, counselling, offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, taking care of paperwork, helping doctors diagnose patients and providing advice and follow-up care.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
  • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
  • Promotes patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.
  • Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division’s philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.

  • Must be an intermediate user of Microsoft Office Suite {Word, Excel and PowerPoint}

Job Summary

  • A Medical Lab Technician prepare samples for analysis, use equipment to locate microorganisms, monitor tests and procedures.

Responsibilities

Your duties shall include but not limited the following:

  • Perform routine clinical laboratory tests done in hematology, chemistry, immunohematology, microbiology, immunology and coagulation.
  • Adequate stock taking and preparation for clinic.
  • Attending to patient in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collating of monthly reports.
  • Providing test results for patient diagnosis and treatment (chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology) by operating equipments provided.
  • Organize work by matching orders with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labeling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; keeping work surfaces clean and orderly.
  • Maintain quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced trouble shooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures; monitoring quality control measures and protocols.
