1.) Senior Finance Executive

Job Description

  • The Candidate for this role will be responsible for managing the financial activities at Our Head Office, including reporting and analysis and to ensure that the organisation operates within the boundaries of applicable financial laws, regulations, and internal policies while also identifying and mitigating risks.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts for the group.
  • Responsible for the preparation of quarterly accounts.
  • Preparation of required financial reports and analysis of internal and external statements.
  • Processing of payment requests.
  • Responsible for closing out cargo purchases and the reconciliation of cargo control ledgers.
  • Preparation of Letter of Credit draft for issuance by banks.
  • Supervision of the posting of payment order vouchers.
  • Ensure the consolidation of the annual budget.
  • Ensure timely responses to enquiries as regards our financial statements.
  • Manage the preparation of Director’s account.
  • Conduct reconciliations of customers and creditors ledger balances and all other related accounts.
  • Responsible for the Group’s chart of accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

Required Skills And Qualification
The ideal candidate must be of the following specification at the minimum.

  • B.Sc. Degree in Accounting or any other Finance related course.
  • ICAN/ACCA certification.
  • Minimum of 7years’ experience in Finance.
  • Previous work experience in the Downstream Oil and Gas industry is desirable.
  • Must have good competence in the preparation and analysis of financial reports.
  • Good team orientation and the ability to work with all levels within the organization and external network.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (Customer service, complaints management and stakeholder management)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

2.) Retail Station Supervisor

Job Location: Gusau, Zamfara
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The person in this position is responsible for assisting the outlet manager is coordinating daily station operations, maintain prompt and accurate cash control at the station by ensuring regular remission of cash by the attendants at agreed interval.
  • Regularly work with other station staff in meeting sales budget and act as first point of contact in the resolution of customer queries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager in daily station operations.
  • Assign, schedule, and monitor the tasks of station attendants.
  • Coordinate all the station attendants to achieve the greatest efficiency.
  • Ensure Company Product Discharge operation manuals/procedures are adhered to strictly.
  • Ensure daily Safety drill of the service station personnel.
  • Responsible for daily product discharge operations at the station.
  • Maintain inventory controls of materials, items and products.
  • Maintain accurate cash control policy at the station and cash evacuation from the attendants at agreed intervals.
  • Ensure joyous experience to customers and guests through cool pleasant services.
  • Maintain the service station premises in a neat and organized manner.
  • Daily opening and closing stock-taking report.
  • Assist the manager to ensure individual and Unit budget/target are met and surpass at all times.
  • Answer and resolve customer needs and objectives.

3.) Senior Internal Audit and Compliance Officer

Job Description

  • The employee in this position is mainly responsible for the internal audits of the Matrix Finance and Accounts Unit.
  • All processes, activities, procurement, and transactions of the afore-mentioned units shall be closely monitored and audited by the employee in this position.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the coordination of the IACD team in Lagos.
  • Conduct a thorough review of all payment vouchers.
  • Conduct thorough review of monthly bank reconciliation statements.
  • Responsible for the review of monthly stock reconciliation.
  • Administration of the Retail POS terminals and chargebacks.
  • Conduct reviews of GL accounts to ensure management accounts accuracy.
  • Manage credit review and risk management.
  • Review of the ERP process and proffer initiatives for improvement.
  • Ensure the timely rendition of Taxes and other statutory dues.
  • Ensure prepayments & depreciation is being updated correctly on the database in accordance with the company policies in a timely manner.
  • Follow-up of all audit findings to ensure adequacy and timeliness of corrections and resolutions.

Required Qualification

  • A Degree in Accounting or any other Finance related course.
  • ICAN/ACCA certification.
  • Applicant must be willing to travel outside Lagos as required.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience performing audit functions in the Oil and Gas sector.
