<p> 1.) Account Officer &#8211; Bank Reconciliation</p>
<p> Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos<br />
 Employment Type: Full-time</p>
<p><b>Job Description</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Successful candidate will conduct daily bank reconciliations, post all credits and debits in the Naira accounts.</li>
<li>Calculate bank charges and prepare necessary reports.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare daily bank reconciliations on assigned banks morning and Afternoon batches (10.am &; 2.30pm)</li>
<li>Post Journal and payment vouchers.</li>
<li>Calculates and posts all charges debited by banks on daily basis in line with offer letter.</li>
<li>All charges not in line with the offer letter should be communicated to snr accountant for follow up &; resolution with banks.</li>
<li>Custodian of bank approved refunds account in extent of entry posted.</li>
<li>Compute in line with Offer letter charges and cost of shipment, clearing charges, form M charges, custom duty charges, freight charges, LC/BC charges, SONCAP charges, confirmation lines, form m loan charges, BC remittances.</li>
<li>End of month reconciliation on AX on the 3rd working day of a new month and maintain orderly filling of same.</li>
<li>Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe acts, condition or procedure in the workplace, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>BA &#8211; Accounting, Finance or equivalent. MBA or Master’s Degree or having any of the following relevant certifications (CFA, CMA, and CPA) would be a plus.</li>
<li>2 &#8211; 4 years of relevant experience in a large company or a group of companies.</li>
<li>Detail oriented and well organized</li>
<li>Self-motivated individual who takes own initiative on tasks and projects</li>
<li>Strong follow up and coordination skills.</li>
<li>Cost conscious</li>
<li>Knowledge of general accounting and financial statements</li>
<li>Experience in ERP system</li>
<li>Analytical skills, focused attention to details and logical thought processes required.</li>
<li>Strong level of accuracy</li>
<li>Strong teamwork abilities, able to work in a cross-functional structure.</li>
<li>Able to prioritize assignments.</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to develop long-term relationships.</li>
<li>Ethical with high confidentiality level.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Salary</b><br />
 N130,000 &#8211; N170,000 Monthly.</p>
