Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi has been shortlisted for Fulham’s Goal of the Month award for April, following his fine finish in the 2-1 loss to Chelsea at Craven Cottage on April 20.

The 29-year-old struck in the 20th minute, calmly placing the ball beyond Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from the edge of the box.

It was Iwobi’s ninth goal of the season under manager Marco Silva.

He is joined on the shortlist by Rodrigo Muniz, Ryan Sessegnon, Emile Smith Rowe and academy prospects Seth Ridgeon and Chibuzo Nwoko.

The latter nominated for his goal in Everton U21s’ fixture against Nottingham Forest on April 28.

Voting is currently open for Fulham supporters to choose their standout strike of the month.
