Job title: IT SERVICE DESK TECHNICIAN (TIER 1)

Job description: Emagine IT has an immediate need for an IT Service Desk Technician (Tier 1) to join our team in support of our Prince Georges Managed Services contract located in Upper Marlboro, MD. A clearance is not required; however, candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, drug/alcohol screening, finger printing.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide phone support to county employees located in many different locations within Prince Georges County
- Provide great customer service to all county employees, contractors and vendors
- Must have critical thinking skills in a service desk capacity and be able to respond to customer’s needs quickly
- Provide internal support for employees and contractors.
- Some knowledge of Active Directory
- Familiar with Dell laptops & Desktops & HP Printers
- Experience with mobile devices (i.e. iphones, androids, ipads.)
- Have Experience using Windows 10, Outlook and Office 365
- Candidates should have a mix of technical and customer service skills, and be passionate about technology and helping people.
- Working with Remote tools to help assist users to reach a first call resolution.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a Tier I level Helpdesk role and/or providing phone support and customer service to customers.
- A+ Certification
- Candidate must meet the vaccination mandate and Drivers License requirements given by Prince Georges County Government.
