We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: IT Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objectives

  • Oversees the IT functions of the bank, our ideal IT Manager is expected to have an expert knowledge of the industry best practices and stay up to date with advances.

Primary Responsibilities
Supervision:

  • Manage and supervise the bank’s Systems, Network, and Infrastructure
  • Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements.
  • Implement and manage digital innovations.

IT Governance & Security:

  • Manage IT Budgets, forecast, and enforce cost- effectiveness deliverables.
  • Evaluate risk, develop network recovery and backup process.
  • Ensure that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

Software Administration & Maintenance:

  • User Creations to all the IT systems
  • Testing, Troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively.
  • Implementing security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems
  • Provide remote and onsite technical support for end users.
  • Communicate with the software vendor regarding software upgrades, CRs, bug fixes etc.
  • Review software maintenance agreements against the SLA and take actions.
  • Restore backups frequently to check the completeness
  • Monitor the application usage and over/under utilization of license
  • Identify existing license and over/under usage for all system and application software
  • Facilitate software licensing audits
  • Manage software project implementations; coordinate with end users and vendor.
  • Prepare project plan and manage IT projects.

Hardware maintenance:

  • Repair and Maintenance of Hardware
  • Coordination with Vendors with regard to hardware issues
  • Trouble Shooting & Assistance with regard to computer related Issues onsite and offsite
  • Following Up After Sales Maintenance & Warranty Covers.
  • Maintain and monitor Service Level Agreements

Skills & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science is required
  • 5 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of architecture processes and performance reports of operating systems
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to assess and recruit top candidates, train new IT staff, supervise and motivate team members for high-performance
