<p> In this role, you will be installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components of machines and assets in our mill facility, in accordance with our reliability strategy and site safety standards. This role is part of Kimberly-Clark’s commitment to pioneering and upholding World Class Best Maintenance practices at a global level and applying those standards to safely produce premium personal care products right here in Neenah, WI. <p> As an Industrial Controls Electrician, you will work as part of the Maintenance Department, responsible for maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging, and distribution of Kimberly Clark Products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance. Perform troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical controls, electrical wiring, and process instrumentation. An Industrial Controls Electrician is responsible for all operational technology equipment including PLCs, VFDs and related controls hardware. This position also performs control upgrades, programming, and the creation of applicable electrical schematics.</p>
<p> <b>In this role, you will:</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Use specialized tools and instruments to troubleshoot, repair, and program electrical equipment.</li>
<li>Program PLC&#8217;s, VFDs and other controls hardware.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean work area to prevent contamination of product.</li>
<li>Accurately complete required work documentation and any related record keeping.</li>
<li>Understand the concepts and participates in the techniques of the quality process.</li>
<li>Perform work safely and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Perform complex electrical repairs on equipment.</li>
<li>Duties include using powered industrial vehicles (i.e. scissor lift, boom lift, electrical carts, and forklifts) for electrical repairs.</li>
<li>Have a working knowledge of the NEC code and NFPA 70E, its interpretation and implementation.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to the maintenance team to help modify existing equipment and improve the design of future equipment.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot control systems throughout the plant and make repairs as required.</li>
</ul>
<p> The successful candidate will join the Maintenance team and report to the Maintenance Manager.</p>

<p> <b>About You</b></p>

As an Electrical Technician, you are able to demonstrate your previous Electrical Engineering experience, you work best under pressure and you deliver high value to your team by owning issues through resolution, being flexible (in both mindset and practice) and working collaboratively with them toward team goals.</p>
<p> To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: </p>
<ul>
<li>Are 18 years or older and are authorized to work in the United States</li>
<li>High school diploma or general education diploma required.</li>
<li>Journeyman Electrician State Certification OR successful completion of a formal four-year apprenticeship</li>
<li>Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening</li>
</ul>
<p> Experience / Specific Knowledge: </p>
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge of National Electric Codes and Regulations.</li>
<li>Proficient with electronic testing instruments.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience preparing drawings of electrical circuits.</li>
<li>Able to read and interpret electrical schematics.</li>
<li>Experience using electrical measurement instruments (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Process Meter, IR Camera, etc.)</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel &; Word.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Physical Demand:</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>While performing the duties of this job, Industrial Controls Electricians regularly work near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to the risk of electrical shock and vibration. Industrial Controls Electricians are required to use electrical gloves and other PPE as required. Industrial Controls Electricians may be exposed to high decibel levels from the production equipment and hearing protection is required.</li>
