<p><b>The position at a glance</b></p>
<p> You will join the Production Security department, within IT Production, and work on the automation of IT Security/Cyber Security processes.</p>
<p> In detail</p>
<p> The Production Security department is in charge of the operational security within the BNP Paribas Americas perimeter.</p>
<p> The department is composed of 5 teams: IAM Production, Network Security, Defense Tools/Architecture, Vulnerability Management and Production CSIRT/Logging &; Detection. The 5 teams handle many IT Security/Cyber Security processes, and handle more than 40 tools.</p>
<p> In this context, the department is looking for a Summer Intern in order to work on: </p>
<ul>
<li>Automation of processes, especially leveraging the various tools API, such as:</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Vulnerability mapping controls</li>
<li>Network behavioral alerts smart closing</li>
<li>Provisioning of sensitive accesses</li>
<li>Adding additional data source within the Production Security data warehouse</li>
<li>Adding consistency controls on the data sets within the data warehouse &; references</li>
<li>Dashboard deployment related to the departments ITIL processes, such as:</li>
</ul>

<li>Incident Management</li>
<li>Problem Management</li>
<li>Change Management</li>
<li>Service Request Management</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>

<p> TRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE </p>
<ul>
<li>Student completing their Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with a graduation date of December 2023 or May 2024.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Programming</li>
</ul>
<p> SKILLS &; BEHAVIOURS </p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with programing languages, esp. scripts (PHP, Python, PowerShell, script-shell…)</li>
<li>Experience with SQL and SQL Databases</li>
<li>Interest in Security/Cyber Security</li>
</ul>

<p><b>Eligibility:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>The program is opened to all students currently enrolled full time in a Canadian University and meet the following eligibility criteria</li>
<li>GPA 3.0​ or above</li>
<li>Less than 2 years of work experience​</li>
<li>Pursuing an Undergraduate or Masters’ degree​​</li>
<li>Has at least one session left of studies after the completion of the internship​</li>
<li>Able to work full time in Montréal during May-August 2024​</li>
<li>Cannot be a family member, directly or indirectly, of any current BNP Paribas employee, regardless of location</li>
</ul>
