<p>Former Abia State Governor, <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/Okezie-Ikpeazu"><strong>Okezie Ikpeazu</strong></a>, has called on members of the <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/PDP"><strong>Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)</strong></a> to remain committed to reclaiming power in 2027.</p>
<p>Reaffirming his unwavering<strong> loyalty to the PDP, Ikpeazu vowed not to leave the party despite recent defections by some members. </strong></p>
<p>Speaking to PDP supporters from Abia South at his Umuobiakwa country home, he emphasized the need for hard work and dedication to restore the party’s dominance. He urged members to stay committed and support the party through its current challenges.</p>

<p>Ikpeazu encouraged PDP members to stand firm and not abandon the party in difficult times, assuring them of his continued support, given the crucial role the PDP has played in his political career.</p>
<p>Addressing the wave of defections following the party’s loss to the Labour Party in 2023, he urged PDP members in Obingwa to remain focused and undeterred.</p>
<p>While acknowledging the party’s struggles, Ikpeazu reassured members that better days were ahead and that those who remained loyal would eventually benefit when the party regained strength.</p>
<p>He also commended the newly appointed State Working Committee led by Abraham Amah, expressing confidence that his leadership would steer the PDP back to power in 2027.</p>
