We operate multiple subsidiaries across North America and are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in Kansas City, KS!

What You’ll Get To Do

The primary goal of a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is to align HR strategies and practices with the overall business objectives, helping to drive organizational success. An HRBP will act as a consultant on people matters to managers, while also advocating for employees’ interests and supporting the leadership with business implementation. Building and maintaining strong relationships is key to the success of an HRBP by establishing trust and credibility with business leaders, managers, and employees to effectively influence and implement HR strategies. HRBPs need a deep understanding of the business they support including knowledge of the industry and the specific challenges and opportunities the team faces. This knowledge enables HRBPs to provide relevant HR solutions that contribute to business success.

The Essentials

  • Lead and direct recruiting efforts for functional team
  • Support functional team managers and supervisors with all aspects of onboarding of new team members
  • Coordinate timesheets and agreements for temporary employees
  • Conduct and process necessary paperwork for the offboarding of team members as necessary
  • Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations when necessary, and ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures throughout functional team.
  • Mediate conflicts and facilitate effective communication between management and employees.
  • Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Lead Employee Event Committee and direct Employee Events at local sites where necessary
  • Maintain employee personnel records as required
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify talent gaps and development needs and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Key partners in coordinating recurring Global HR Processes and Initiatives, including Talent Review, Talent Development, Compensation, CSR, and D&I initiatives
  • Partner with functional managers and supervisors to understand business goals and objectives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide discretion in confidential situations as needed
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • High School or Equivalent required, associates degree preferred
  • 5 years of Human Resources experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at different levels throughout the organization
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Takes initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
