<p><b>Job description</b>: We are currently recruiting for a Hospitality Assistant. Are you engaging, energetic and enjoy working as part of a team helping to support one to one activities with residents who may be in lounges, then a Hospitality role could be what you are looking for. <p> As a Hospitality Assistant you will be: </p>
<ul>
<li>Ensuring kitchenette areas are fully stocked prior to serving of all meals</li>
<li>Preparing and laying tables in dining areas</li>
<li>Preparing individual residents bedroom meal trays. Changing water and juice jugs in resident bedrooms and checking clean glasses are available</li>
<li>Assisting in clearing tables after meals and cleaning all kitchenette areas</li>
<li>Serving of tea and coffee , pre-lunch drinks and snacks throughout the day</li>
<li>After lunch checking lounge areas are clean , tidy and welcoming, empty bins, and vacuum as throughout the shift</li>
<li>Ensure readily available magazines, papers and recreational games are in lounges for residents use encouraging and offering to residents</li>
<li>Engage in one to one activity with residents in the lounges where needed</li>
<li>Welcoming of residents visitors to home and taking to resident and offering refreshments</li>
</ul>
<p> To succeed you will be </p>
<ul>
<li>A team player who engages well with others</li>
<li>Qualified in Basic Food Hygiene and able to demonstrate a high standards of personal hygiene</li>
<li>Knowledgeable of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments</li>
<li>A strong communicator and influencer</li>
<li>Energetic and hard-working</li>
<li>Flexible and adaptable to change</li>
<li>Passionate about offering superior services and want to make a difference</li>
<li>A glass half full person, with a sense of humour and a positive outlook</li>
