<p><b>Job Description:</b></p>
<p> SMART Education would like to recruit High School English teacher for a well-known school.</p>
<p> This health and social care teacher position will be offering additional support within a secondary school setting in Birmingham, within their sixth form college.</p>
<p> This English teaching position will commence ASAP, starting on a 3-month temporary basis, with potential of going permanent.</p>
<p> The schools are looking to hold interviews and lesson observations as soon as possible.</p>

They like to collaborate with local communities, schools, and beyond and require people who can support this in an administrative way.</p>
<p> As a full time Health and Social Care Teacher the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so the following is expected:</p>
<ul>
<li>Teach Health and Social Care A-Level</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assess, mark and plan lessons.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assess achievements of pupils.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Provide progress reports and attend parent&#8217;s evening &; department meetings.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Adhere to all behaviour policies that may be in place.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications Required:</b></p>
<p> At least 12 months teaching health and social care within a school/university environment</p>
<p> A certified QTS, preferred but QTLS will also be considered</p>
<p> Salary: £145.12 -£215.89</p>
<p> Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am 4pm, potential temp to perm.</p>
<p> Location: Sutton Coldfield</p>
