I am currently collaborating with a diverse range of schools that are actively seeking Support Assistants with prior experience in handling Autism Spectrum Condition and SEMH. If you have personal or professional involvement with ASC or SEMH, this role could be an excellent match for you.

Requirements: * Display a patient and empathetic demeanor.

  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in working with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with SEMH and ASC.
  • Maintain flexibility in your approach to adapt to the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team, fostering clear communication for the betterment of the child or young person.

Responsibilities: * Assist and support students in their educational and developmental journey within the school, implementing interventions and educational plans.

  • Offer both one-on-one and general support based on daily requirements.
  • Work in cooperation with other teaching and support staff to create a secure and conducive learning environment.
  • Uphold school policies, including those related to student behavior.
  • Engage in communication with fellow staff members and, when necessary, with families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
