<p> <b>The Role</b></p>
<p> As the Head of Marketing at LiveScore Bet Nigeria, you will play a lead role in developing and executing our marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement and retention. You will build and lead a team of marketing talent and work closely with centralised marketing teams to deliver our vision to become one of the most popular betting and gaming brands in Nigeria. Here&#8217;s what you&#8217;ll be responsible for:</p>
<p> <b>Key Responsibilities</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Marketing Strategy &; Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company&#8217;s objectives and market trends in Nigeria&#8217;s sports betting &; igaming industry.</li>
<li>Brand Management: Working with the LiveScore Group central brand team and agency partners, build and nurture the LiveScore Bet brand identity in Nigeria, ensuring it resonates with the local audience and stands out in a competitive market.</li>
<li>Customer Acquisition: Lead customer acquisition efforts by driving conversion of LiveScore Media users to LiveScore Bet and through various other channels including digital marketing, social media, partnerships and sponsorships, to drive growth in user numbers.</li>
<li>Customer Retention: Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty, engagement and lifetime value through effective promotions and CRM activity.</li>
<li>Market Research &; Understanding: Build a repository of industry trends, competitor activities and customer insights to be shared across the LiveScore Group and used to inform marketing strategies and product development.</li>
<li>Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team &#8211; you will foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation, empowering team members to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of LiveScore Bet Nigeria.</li>
<li>Budget Management: Oversee the development of marketing budgets ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve maximum returns on investment.</li>
<li>Insights &; Analytics: Leverage the central Insights team to ensure detailed monitoring of key performance indicators and customer behaviours in order to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activity and adjust strategies accordingly.</li>
<li>Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all our local marketing compliance obligations are fully understood, shared with key Compliance stakeholders and continuously adhered to.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Skills, Knowledge and Experience</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in a lead marketing role within the Nigerian sports betting and igaming industry</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience building and leading marketing teams across multiple disciplines.</li>
<li>Strategic and creative thinker with demonstratable experience in both</li>
<li>Broad channel experience (both media and creative)</li>
<li>An effective communicator, well versed in stakeholder management</li>
<li>Demonstratable experience using research insights to inform planning and aid decision-making</li>
<li>Experience in campaign planning, execution and measurement</li>
<li>Experience managing agencies and working effectively with internal teams</li>
<li>Strong commercial acumen</li>
