<p><b>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide support to Sales and Marketing as internal customers in the creation, optimization and execution winning plans.</li>
<li>Build &; develop a high performing Category &; Shopper marketing team, leading by example.</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key personnel both at the customer&#8217;s head office, industry and across the Regions. Specifically, play a leadership role in building &; executing winning plans and Sr customer engagement.</li>
<li>Build bench-strength through on-going personnel development of people.</li>
<li>Communicate and lead cross-functionally to capitalize on opportunities as they arise and resolve issues proactively to agreed upon outcomes</li>
<li>Serve as the leader of the &#8220;Internal Customer&#8221; assisting marketing and related cross-functions on category opportunities and risk mitigation. In addition, will provide &#8220;funnel&#8221; activities for the collection of sales data to marketing in support of new product and distribution activities in support of profitable growth.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>CANDIDATE PROFILE</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven skills in senior level category management.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of the grocery/packaged goods customer base.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong skills in the area of negotiating.</li>
<li>Strong skills in Microsoft Office/or equivalent and A. C. Nielsen.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of the grocery and packaged goods industry in the UK, specifically category management resource requirements.</li>
<li>Understanding of functional aspects of the organization and ability to lead cross-functionally to resolve issues and capitalize on opportunities.</li>
<li>Experienced and understanding of category management, customer and consumer marketing are key assets to the position.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of the customer competitive environment as well as the Companies competitive set.</li>
<li>Strong budgeting skills, to manage the shopper marketing part of the team and negotiation 3rd party contracts.</li>
</ul>
