“He spoke the truth” – Paulo Okoye backs Davido over his statement on Africa’s economy being in shambles

Nigerian show promoter Paulo Okoye has come to the defense of music artist Davido, who has faced criticism for his remarks regarding the state of Africa’s economy.

According to GistLover, Davido recently cautioned black Americans against moving to Africa during an interview, emphasizing that such a decision may not be advisable due to the continent’s economic difficulties. He clarified that his intention was not to disparage Africa but rather to highlight certain positive aspects while omitting the more challenging realities.

This statement, however, sparked considerable backlash, with many expressing their discontent.

In response, Paulo urged critics to refrain from attacking the artist, asserting that Davido’s comments were grounded in truth. He pointed out the dire economic situation in Nigeria, characterized by the exodus of global companies and significant losses for local enterprises.

Paulo emphasized the importance of acknowledging the current challenges and encouraged Nigerians to confront reality and strive for a more promising future.

“Please make una leave Davido alone, mad people.

Davido spoke the truth Nigeria’s current economic state is so bad. With global companies leaving and local businesses facing significant losses, it’s clear we are facing challenges. Let’s acknowledge the reality and work towards a better future. God bless Nigeria”, he wrote.
