<p>Notable activist, <strong>Harrison Gwamnishu</strong> carries out a solo protest at the <strong>Delta</strong> State government house over the insecurity in the state.</p>
<p>This comes months after he resigned as the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta Governor, <strong>Sheriff Oborevwori.</strong></p>

<p>In the video he shared on his page, the human rights activist was seen in front of the government house requesting to see the governor after the <strong>security</strong> men at the gate barred his entrance.</p>
<p>While they had tried to harass and turn down his request, Harrison Gwamnishu made this case heard, insisting that he needed to see the governor over the insecurity in Delta.</p>
<p>In a statement he released on his page, Harrison wrote …</p>
<p><em>“I have just concluded a solo protest at the Delta State Government House to draw urgent attention to the growing insecurity plaguing our communities.</em></p>
<p><em>The Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, appears to be neglecting the vital role of our local security networks—structures that remain unfunded and unsupported, even as kidnappings and violence escalate.</em></p>
<p><em>I came here to express deep concern and to urge the government to prioritize funding for local vigilante groups. This is not just a protest—it is a call to action for the safety and protection of all Deltans.</em></p>
<p><em>This advocacy is the reason I resigned from my position as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor. I chose to stand with the people.</em></p>
