Job Description:

We are currently hiring for a Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Test Environment Architect and Cross Program Lead supporting a portfolio of programs within the Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit. The leader will be responsible for all Software Evaluation Station (SWES)/Computer in the Loop (CIL)/Hardware in the Loop (HIL/HWIL) architecture definition, development, and execution activities for the Alternate Missions & Space Product Area.

The leader will be responsible for generating, implementing, and managing planning and execution of test environment activities across multiple programs within the portfolio. Regular and significant senior customer facing engagements, as well as internal senior leadership briefings across program and functional organizations, is expected from this lead.

This leader will be the primary interface to program office, customer, and industry counterparts, while providing leadership and technical guidance to the system integration and test team.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Responsible for leading all systems integration and test SWES/CIL/HIL/HWIL activities throughout the execution of the program, meeting cost, schedule, and technical objectives.

Responsible for developing test environments and artifacts to ensure on-time deliveries.

Responsible for interface and coordination with internal and external organizations on integration and test planning, coordination, execution, and reporting.

Adapt to and overcome technical issues to successfully meet company schedule and budget commitments.

Coordinate across organizations to draw on their subject matter experts and address emergent issues across the systems, software, and hardware domains.

Represent the interests of the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) discipline on the program.

Interface with the customer community on a regular basis to share status, issues, and address programmatic concerns.

Provide hardware in the loop and test environment expertise across the Product Area in support of programs and new business pursuits.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and twelve (12) years of engineering experience.

Active and transferable U.S. DoD government issued Top Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience leading engineering teams and managing cost and schedule.

Experience working with customers to develop program test environment strategies and architectures in support of integration and test activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Technical Degree

10+ years leading test environment design, development, integration, and test activities.

Experience in the program technical domain

Experience successfully leading multi-disciplined teams with aggressive schedules.

Effective communications with general officer level customers

Experience in effective customer negotiations for cost and scope
