Nigerian businessman Francis Van-Lare has condemned those criticizing him for speaking out about his late son-in-law, Dr. Ikenna Erinne, following his passing.
This comes after Van-Lare made a series of accusations against the late cardiologist, labelling him a “deadbeat father, fraud, and abuser.“
However, some social media users questioned the timing of his revelations, accusing him of being insensitive and disrespectful to the dead.
In a recent Facebook post, Van-Lare slammed bloggers and critics, accusing them of twisting his words for clout.
He insisted that he is free to express himself as he wishes, stating that he has a wealth of experiences in business, finance, travel, and relationships to share online.
Van-Lare warned critics against dictating how he should react, urging them to unfollow if his posts make them uncomfortable.
“Most Nigerian bloggers grow their blogs gossiping about others and spreading twisted misinformation so sympathizers will follow them
I do not share anybody’s fortunate or unfortunate situations on my wall . I have a zillion experiences business, sexual , financial management , travel tips to share as I am mixed bag.
“Do not come and attack me or any members of my family because you expect me to behave a certain way your myopic mind expects me to behave . Doing that will not help your cause but will worsen it.
“90% of you come to my page for stress relief and if my posts are now stressing you unfollow. How can someone have an issue at the timing I decided to exercise and decided to make a post on it? I bully the bully #bulldozer. #AnikulapoFrancis.”
