<p>The match saw goals from Diogo Dalot in the 22nd minute and a penalty converted by Bruno Fernandes in the 74th minute.</p>
<p>The result has set them up for a potential fourth-round clash against Eastleigh or Newport, both non-league small fry.</p>
<p>United fielded a strong team for the game, taking now chances with second options players. This helped them control most part of the clash with Wigan, who currently sit 18th in League One after a points deduction.</p>
